Information you give us

The booking form asks for the following. Nothing on this site asks for payment card details, ID numbers or passwords, and we will never request them by message either.

• Your name
• Your phone number
• The package, date and time you selected
• Any notes you choose to add (for example where the car is parked)

How your booking reaches us

When you submit the form, your details are sent to our server and then passed to us — normally by opening a pre-filled WhatsApp message from your phone, which you choose whether to send. Depending on how our booking system is connected at the time, the same details may also be saved to our appointment database and emailed to us, so we can hold your slot and contact you about the appointment. We use them for that purpose only. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records some technical information as you browse. Our hosting provider logs each request — including your IP address, browser type and the page requested — and our own server logs record booking submissions so that an enquiry is never lost. We also use PostHog, an analytics service, to understand how the site is used.

• Pages you visit and how you move between them
• Clicks on key buttons — WhatsApp, package details, FAQ questions
• Bookings submitted, so we can see how many enquiries the site produces
• A session recording: a replay of your visit showing scrolling, clicks and mouse movement

About session recording

Session recording plays back how a visit unfolded so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. What you type into form fields is masked and is not captured in these recordings — the replay does not contain your name, phone number or notes. The booking details themselves reach us only through the form submission described above. Analytics events we send about a booking record the package, date and time, never your name or phone number.

Who else your information passes through

We use a small number of established providers to run the site. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

• Vercel — hosts the website and keeps short-term server logs
• PostHog (servers in the United States) — website analytics and session recording
• WhatsApp (Meta) — carries the booking message you send us; their own privacy terms apply to that conversation
• Google Maps — the map shown in the footer is embedded from Google, which may receive your IP address when the page loads

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept while we need them to serve you and keep a record of past work. Analytics data and session recordings are kept by PostHog under its own retention schedule, which is measured in months rather than indefinitely. Server logs are short-lived and rotate automatically. If you would like your information removed sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Cookies and similar technology

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. PostHog stores an identifier in your browser so repeat visits are recognised as the same session rather than counted twice. Blocking cookies or using your browser's private mode will stop that identifier being kept, and the site will still work normally.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging a vehicle service. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop recording your sessions. Message us on WhatsApp and we will handle it — you do not need to give a reason. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting and private browsing, both of which reduce what analytics can see.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
